Hi, I’m Hannah!
A manuscript editor who loves books, creative writing, and what I do.
I’ve worked on 150+ projects and my clients are both on shelves in Barnes & Noble and successfully self-published through Amazon and Kindle Unlimited.
My professional manuscript editing services are designed to help you no matter what stage of the writing process you’re at or what your goals for your manuscript are. Whether your next step be preparing for agent queries or charting your book’s own path, I’m excited to help you and your novel reach that goal!
Early on
I never left the house without a book, or two, in my hands, just in case a free five minutes made their way to me.
From the moment I first discovered the magic of books, I was captivated by the worlds that opened up within their pages, the different lives you could lead without leaving your reading spot.
This lifelong passion for literature naturally evolved into a deep appreciation for the craft of storytelling itself and guided me to my degree. Understanding what makes a narrative compelling, how characters come alive on the page, and the delicate balance of pacing and prose became more than just reader observations—they became the foundation of my work as an editor.
Now, I have the privilege of helping other writers bring their stories to life, combining my love of reading with the technical expertise needed to refine manuscripts. Every project I take on is an opportunity to connect with a new story and support an author’s creative vision.
Current
I earned my Bachelors of Arts in English and a double minor in Professional Writing & Presentation Media and Biology from Meredith College.
I’ve been a freelance manuscript editor since 2020, working with clients on over 90 full-length manuscripts and 40 more partial manuscripts and novellas.
My clients include both traditionally published authors and successfully self-published authors, with a number of novels available on shelves in Barnes and Noble and online through Amazon and Kindle Unlimited.
Most importantly, I’m a published writer myself, so I understand personally, deeply, both sides of the fiction editing process, allowing me to provide the most applicable, informed, and craft-minded feedback and edits for your manuscript as possible.
